Számunkra meglepő élőhelyen, egyik kedvenc összefüggő jegenyeconiferünkben (ellentétben a leírásokban szereplő akácos, summeras, dűnés élőhelyekkel). Az ülő megjelenés, az elvékonyodó karok, a határolt perisztom, a megszáradva sima, shiny alsó rész és a karok hátoldalának száradás utáni hosszanti repedezettsége adták a fő támpontokat.
