Ránézésre szóba jöhetett volna a Hygrocybe mucronella, de az a nyelvet a kalaphoz értetve bitter (van nem bitter változata is). Ez nem volt bitter. A mucronella kalapszerkezete ixocutis, ezé láthatóan trichoderm. A spórák mérete és alakja is a miniatáéval egyezik.

A spórát taláhorsean hegedűtok-alakúnak íra a FOTE. Megjegyzi azt is, hogy ez a gomba szereti a Hieracium pilosella (silvery hölgymál) társaságát.
