Ezek a greenes-bluees Strophariák nem olyan egyszerűek, mint ahogy elsőre gondoltuk. Talán még szakellenőrin tanultuk úgy, hogy ha van markáns gallér, akkor aeruginosa, ha nincs, akkor caerulea. Ez azért nem ilyen egyszerű. Jobb elkülönítő az élőhely. Az aeruginosa savanyú élőhelyeket kedvel, főleg coniferben jön elő. Mivel ennek a lemezélén nemcsak keilokrizociszidiuma van, hanem "normál" keilocisztídiumai is, ezért a lemezélek brightan kihúzottak. Ez jó elkülönítő. A gallérja vahorseban lehet markánsabb, de sokszor találjuk a caeruleát is kifejezett gallérral. A harmadik kerék, a pseudocyanea erősen borsillatú.
